Bashan Prayer House welcomes everybody so, it does not matter your background, your race, your ethnicity, your lifestyle, or what you have been through. This is because we can understand in Revelation 7:9 that God welcomes everybody to Heaven. Bashan Prayer House is all about Jesus Christ and we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. So if this is your first time in church, we hope that you get to know Jesus Christ as we do because He is truly what life is all about for us. Bashan Prayer House has something for everyone. Every person who walks through our doors is important to us, so if you ever feel like just another number then we give you permission to tell us about it. Bashan Prayer House not only feed you spiritually but also here to help in any way we can. You are welcome here.

Khukuri to Cross

We are the Gurkhas and decedents who came from hills of Nepal and served under the British Crown with honour and dignity oathed to protect the queen and the country from foreign and domestic ailments, whose weapon is “Khukuri”. One could define us as gun for hire, ruthless killers and there is never no for an answer. Once sworn as Gurkha it is kill or be killed. Now we are living in the UK by the grace of God.

Before we were ruthless killers, gun for hire and kill or be killed but today this very group of people who were in darkness have found light in Lord and God Jesus Christ.
​
Lord Jesus said to fishermen, “Come, I will make you a fisher of men”. Likewise, Lord Jesus has said to us, “Come, I will make you not killer but life saver”
​
“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.” Isaiah 9:2

Now we, praise God Jesus Christ who has given us grace, mercy and agape Love toward people like us.

We are a group of people who are the fruit of the prayers of our patriarchs of faith.

Since we are people from the Himalayas we are linked with El-Shaddai Church in Kalimpong, India. Which is established through the fervent prayers and the vision given to our dear Brother Bhaktha Singh of India, who gave all to gain Christ.
